AI KP Astrology Readings
Where Parashari astrology reads whole signs, KP reads the sub lord — a 249-fold division of the zodiac that decides whether a house delivers, denies or delays. ProxaAI computes the full KP table from your birth details and puts a KP-trained specialist on every question you ask.
Quick Answer: What Is KP Astrology?
KP (Krishnamurti Paddhati) is a refinement of Vedic astrology that judges every matter by the sub lord of its house cusp. ProxaAI computes your KP chart exactly — KP ayanamsa, Placidus cusps, the 249 subs, significators at levels A to D, ruling planets — and a KP-trained AI answers your question from it, including horary charts erected from a number you give between 1 and 249.
Ask a KP Question →What Is the KP System?
Krishnamurti Paddhati was developed by Prof. K.S. Krishnamurti in the twentieth century to make Vedic prediction precise and testable. It keeps the grahas and the Vimshottari dasha but changes three things. It uses its own ayanamsa, a few arc-minutes smaller than Lahiri. It casts Placidus house cusps for the birth place, so a planet belongs to the house whose cusp it has passed rather than to its whole sign. And it divides each of the 27 stars into nine subs in the Vimshottari proportion, giving the famous 249 subs — the sub lord of a cusp or planet is what KP judges by. A house promises its matters when its cusp sub lord signifies the houses favourable to them, denies them when it signifies their twelfth houses, and, by KP's retrograde rules, delays or denies them when it or its star lord is retrograde.
What ProxaAI Computes for a KP Reading
Every element of the KP method is computed deterministically before an AI sees your chart — nothing is estimated from a Sun sign:
- KP ayanamsa at your birth instant (the Swiss Ephemeris Krishnamurti mode) and Placidus cusps for your birth place, with Porphyry cusps only beyond the polar circles.
- Sign, star and sub lord of every cusp and every planet, from the exact 249-sub table.
- Significators at all four levels — the house of the star lord (A), the house occupied (B), the houses owned by the star lord (C), the houses owned (D) — with Rahu and Ketu as agents of the planets conjunct with or aspecting them, of their star lord and of their sign lord.
- Ruling planets at the moment of the question — the sign and star lords of the lagna and the Moon plus the day lord, at our seat of judgement — and the ruling-planet transits of the Sun and Moon through their stars over the coming months.
- KP horary for every question: the sub lord of the question's own cusp, read through its star lord and then its sub, judged against the favourable and denying house groups with KP's retrograde rules; when you follow KP it joins the Prashna verdict as an independent second method, and its bhukti windows are given only when the matter is promised.
- Horary by number: start a question with "KP number 108" and the ascendant is fixed at that sub, the cusps erected for its rising and the planets taken for the moment — the classical KP prashna.
How the KP Specialist Reads Your Question
A KP reading follows a fixed order. For a career question the specialist looks at the sub lord of the 10th cusp (the 6th for getting a job) and asks whether it signifies 2, 6, 10 or 11 — the houses of income, service, profession and gains; for marriage, the 7th cusp sub lord and houses 2, 7 and 11; for children, the 5th and houses 2, 5 and 11. The dasha, bhukti and antara lords running now must also signify those houses, and the event tends to fall when the transiting Sun and Moon pass through the stars of ruling planets that signify them. ProxaAI hands the AI all of this as computed facts and the methodology forbids it from recomputing or contradicting them; the AI phrases, weighs and explains. The Parashari reading from your Vedic kundli runs beside it, and the synthesis says plainly when the two schools agree or differ.
KP Horary: Answers From a Number
The most distinctive KP tool is horary by number. Instead of the moment of the question, the querent gives a number between 1 and 249 and the chart is erected with the ascendant at the first degree of that sub. ProxaAI supports this inside any session for a kundli that follows KP: begin your message with "KP number 45:" and the Prashna specialist erects the number chart, judges the cuspal sub lord, checks the Moon's connection to the matter and scans the ruling-planet transits for the dates. If you give no number, the KP chart of the moment is used. Either way the KP verdict is shown as a separate line next to the classical Prashna Marga verdict, so you can see both methods.

KP Astrology — Frequently Asked Questions
- How is KP different from a regular Vedic kundli?
- Three ways: the KP ayanamsa, Placidus cusps instead of whole-sign houses, and the sub lord — a 249-fold division of the zodiac that decides whether a house delivers. ProxaAI computes both charts and never mixes their house systems in one sentence.
- Do I need my exact birth time for KP?
- Yes. Cusps and the ascendant sub lord change every few minutes, so KP is only computed for a kundli with a known birth time and coordinates. Without them the reading falls back to the Parashari chart.
- What is a KP horary number?
- A number from 1 to 249 chosen by the querent. The ascendant is fixed at the first degree of that sub and the cusps are erected for the moment it rises, while the planets are taken for the moment of judgement. Start a question with "KP number N" to use it.
- Which ayanamsa does ProxaAI use for KP?
- K.S. Krishnamurti's own ayanamsa — his original, "KP old" (the Swiss Ephemeris SE_SIDM_KRISHNAMURTI mode, mode 5), not the later "KP New" some KP software defaults to — switched on only for the KP computation and restored to Lahiri afterwards, so the two charts never contaminate each other.
- Does the KP verdict replace the Prashna verdict?
- No — it adds to it. The KP cuspal sub-lord judgement contributes points to the classical Prashna score and is shown as an independent second method, agreement or disagreement stated.
